Bestow.
Reframing the maker's heritage.
The Bestow porcelain tile collection highlights fiber arts in Bandura Design’s inaugural collaboration with MILE®stone brand Stories. Homespun artists’ weaving, braiding, and macrame knotting inspire the tile’s color, texture, and pattern.
For millennia, the art of weaving has been passed down generationally, culturally, and communally to offer heightened expressions of history and heritage.
To craft with bare hands that have learned from generations of homespun artisans before has an indubitable connection to the preservation of heritages. This collection, manufactured in the USA and environmentally sustainable, reframes the tradition of weaving into a modern tool for exploring pattern-making in the built environment.
